The local has had its place at the picturesque domplatz in eichstätt for quite a time. in summer there is a sufficiently large outside area with beautiful view... read more The local has had its place at the picturesque domplatz in eichstätt for quite a time. in summer there is a sufficiently large outside area with beautiful view over the square. the interieur of the local is appealing, but nothing extravagant. it has two floors in the house. the upper floor can also host larger groups.We were there for the first time with a group of workmates to invite a little Christmas time. the card is small but fine. it's something for everyone tastes. also vegetarians are found here. the card is divided into appetizers, suppening, hauptgang and desserts and changes after season, so that even with several visits there is always something new. the main course is always in two variants. once as a tappas small portion and also as a full-fledged main dish. The Tappas variant is recommended for all cases, as one has to choose not only one of the tasty ones. the offers are basically seen as barish-bourgeois, but reinterpreted in a very appealing art.No one from our group was there before and accordingly everyone was curious. due to our reservation we were expected and received friendly. in the first floor a beautifully decorated table awaits us. the cards are placed on a clamping board, which is handy and allows a quick selection. Together we have explored almost 90% of the map in a culinary way. I personally tasted from the hirschkeule roast and the beef. before I enjoyed a broth with a broth. everything was prepared on the spot, excellently tasted, magically presented and especially freshly prepared. who waits for the typical good-sufficient flaws from the large market is here therefore missing from the place. after all the eaters, each court was excellent and seeks his equal in caliber. after calibrating up to a few exceptions, this restaurant is an absolute enrichment. we will definitely strike again to make our palate and pamper.Only little manko was that the service power seemed somewhat insecure. even if this was consistently friendly and accommodating, there would be an old hat here, who can also entertain and advise guests a round-off towards perfection.The prices are favourable for the outstanding quality. Of course, you can eat cheaper in caliber, but not with the qualities described above. I find it almost hard to praise this locally very, as I would like to keep it as my personal secret.

The dishes are freshly prepared, whose quality is at the highest level and is lovingly and more than appealingly dressed on great dishes. Handicraft performance in the kitchen and selection of raw materials deserve highest respect. To the impeccable, friendly and sympathetic service, you can only congratulate. In the Maletter you can not only enjoy traditional cuisine modernly interpreted, but you can also experience Eichstätter lifestyle authentically.
