The outdoor patio was just magical, and they had a wood fire so it didn't get so chilly. Order the Käsespätzle and a big glass of Augustiner. You'll leave full and satisfied.

Our initial impression... read more This place was recommended by our holiday company. Fortunately, we had made a reservation as they were turning people away as we arrived. Our initial impression was not great as we were greeted perfunctorily by a male waiter who then left us standing in the...hallway for some minutes. We were rescued by a very helpful waitress who showed us to our table. The restaurant was very busy but she was very efficient. The atmosphere is solidly traditional and the food was good with the emphasis on large robust portions rather than finesse. I had a huge leg of roast pork which was well cooked and arrived with both potatoes and dumplings! My husband had goulash and dumplings. Our daughters had filled pasta which was excellent.
