In addition to the excellent food (freshly prepared) by Chef Maurizio, I particularly appreciate the service from his wife Solveig. Both are always friendly, accommodating and advise me on my choice of dishes. I have never been disappointed and feel very comfortable. Thank you!

I was surprised that the pineapple pizza was €10 more expens... read more We were at Feuerstein airfield to watch planes. In the evening, we wanted to get some pizzas to go. I was surprised that the pineapple pizza was €10 more expensive than all the others. When I asked about it, I was told it was compensation for the inconvenience of putting pineapple on a pizza, since it 's not Italian. I find it quite bold to emphasize this in the pricing, especially since unsuspecting customers suddenly find themselves with an extra €10 on their bill... Questionable... I thought that if they were so confidently promoting Bella Italia, I would definitely be enjoying the best pizza in Franconia. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The pizzas were small, the dough tasted like it had been reheated, and none of us were full... What a shame! This restaurant lives off the airfield. We won 't be getting takeaway food from there again. The drinks are reasonably priced, and watching the gliders take off and land with a cold beer is a real treat.
