Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse

I should have done this some time ago, but as it has come to light that people have looked at this place for completely stupid reasons, I will take the time to submit my assessment today. I love this restorative! It is my place for high quality food. I tried almost every Fast Food Joint and Restaruant here in Effingham and there are only two other places I even recommend for friends and family. Fujiyama is #1 on this list of three! For beginners, the food is to die. Excellent portions that I fight to end when I am able to finish at all. Overly polite employees who are also very helpful and informative if you have any questions. The atmosphere is soothing, with soft music playing overhead, and even though they have some TVs, they are no nusiance. After all, every time I was there, everything was wonderfully clean! Something you don't see today in most companies. Finally, this place is hands down one of if not the best facilities to get delicious food in Effingham. After almost any Fast Food Joint and Restaruant here in the city, most are quite cravings, served typical fast food flavor that the average person could be at home. Fujiyama is from the crowd with great food, excellent service, charming atmosphere and cleanliness!

My fiancée and I went on Friday night. The service was good, the cook was great, and the food was amazing!!! We had both steaks and shrimps. Very recommended!!

Second visit and very enjoyed my time. Had to convince my LA parent company to go to Sushi in a country locked state and we shared an amazing culinary experience in the sushi bar. The chef not only knows exactly what he does, but also could bring us back to past culinary experiences by adapting and creating menu items for us. Very recommended, will be back regularly.

Food and service were very good. There is a lot to eat, should never starve. The dressing on the salad is great. Will go back Foresure

Great service and great food. The whole atmosphere made me happy. I would recommend this to anyone..especially hibachi. It's a little pricey...but so worth it! You won't be disappointed. And if you don't like sushi, don't worry they offer so much more!
