Split a shopping expedition in two with lunch at the Maid. Hadn't been for awhile and there has been a revamp/remodel.Not sure what they achieved with that as the Pub looks more old fashioned than it did-maybe that's what they were trying to achieve. However...More View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maid of Auckland:
We visited a couple of weeks ago and although the food was OK the service was terrible. We ordered 2 roasts of the day and 2 sefood platters. What annoyed us most was it took 1 hour and 15 minutes for our meals to be served particularly when other customers who arrived and ordered well after us were served and completed their meals before we even received ours. Great atmosphere very friendly and helpful happy staff
Attended last night with a large party for dual birthday celebrations. Food took over an hour one order was completely missed.Due to delays the children several adults missed the birthday cake the celebration we were there for.The remedies offered were not appropriate no voucher was offered.That's 18 people who won't be returning.
Great meals, great staff. excellent service. unfortunately no eftpos available due to the previous night storm.
Nice eating. grilled fish was perfect. great service and environment. will definitely be back.
