Love the new and improved Bluejay! The restaurant looks like a whole new diner, the new owner is very friendly, and the kitchen staff is really good at what they do. View all feedback.
What Íunn Kristgeirs doesn't like about Blue Jay Cafe:
Perhaps not the cheapest place to eat breakfast but the portions are better then average. Expect to pay 8-10 bucks for a complete breakfast, the place is also pretty popular for lunch. View all feedback.
New owners, new decor, new menu! Good breakfast, good price, large portions! I've been looking for a good place for breakfast in Edson
The service was terrible, and the entire cafe did not appear to be very clean despite having recently been renovated. My husband's breakfast was disappointing, with undercooked hash browns. I ordered the 'homemade soup of the day,' which was advertised as beef and vegetable but tasted more like dishwater and canned tomatoes. The hot water for tea even tasted like bleach, and when I sent it back, they couldn't even get that right. The total cost for this disappointing meal was $28.00, which felt like a rip-off. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant, as they need to improve their cooking skills or perhaps just get out of the food business altogether.

Ripped seats, dirty tables, the Reuben was lacking meat terribly. They used margarine on the toast, not butter. One waitress was so rude to a customer at the next table, telling them "You'll get what you're given" and " You talk too much" I could tell that the recipient of this verbal abuse was appalled. I won't go back.
