Wasi's Restaurant - Edmonton

We did takeout at Wasis, and when we got home and opened the container to see that we paid $13 for butter chicken that only filled quarter of the container

It's a new restaurant that opened in early December 2014Very tasty.

Good food and friendly atmosphere..food is real sri lankan food and brings back memories..taste of sri lanka.

If you ever wanted to taste Authentic Sri Lankan -Sinhalese food, this is where you should step in. I think this should be one of the very few Sri Lankan restaurants in Alberta, which you can taste the typical Sri Lankan Sinhalese food. this is the second time I have ever tasted Sinhalese food in last 5 years. First time in Victoria islands, then here in Wasi's Edmonton. IF anyone needs to try more options, better to visit there in weekends. Friendly service, customer oriented, beware, Sinhalese food is very very hot, but of course you can customise to your taste. They always ask about the preferred spice level, so if you like you can beat the red hot spicy dishes or mild as your tolerance. This is one of the speciality food some one should try. You wont find authentic Sri Lankan SINHALESE food in very often.

I visited wasis restaurant many times. I have no words to explain about taste of food. Specially in kottu, hoppers, rolls etc. great job. Keep it up.
