If you are looking for a pizza with lots of toppings, this is the place for you. Have ordered from here on and off when visiting family in Edmonton over the years. Most recent experience was in Oct 2015. Still a solid pizza. Yes, a 12" T-Rex [all meat] will set you back $26 plus tax but chances are, no one will eat more than 2 or 3 slices as they are pretty substantial. Limited hours, closes early, not open Monday an... These guys know what big, delicious, layered with meat and cheese pizza with awesome tomato sauce is.
Our first Edmonton pizza experience was great! We ordered a t-Rex and a Caesar salad.
We ordered the 12 inch TRex pizza and it was delicious!!! The crust is not greasy and there is a thick layer of different meats.
Its been 10yrs since i had a slice of versatos pizza but it was so worth the 45 min drive.fresh dough great ingredients and an actual oven( not a conveyor belt u put a raw pizza on one end and get a cooked one on the other.)an honest to god oven that the pizza cook has to watch, spin the pie around for equal cooking.plus there is no measuring or counting out i dividual meat slices, nope honest to god pizza making.the owners kurt and tanya are great.its small and outta the way but for those of us who appreciate well made pizza well go out and find versatos you wont be disappointed.p.s.they sell by the slice or by the pizza and wow are the pizzas huge
From the outside of the building, it doesn't look like much. I had heard urban myths and rumors of this place for years before I actually found it and tried it.I've had pizza all over the world. Chicago, New York, LA, .... nothing compares to this. Lots of cheese, tangy tomato sauce, buttery crust and meat..upon meats....upon meats. Eating a slice of this pizza is much more physically like diving into a bistro burger, as it is tough to get your mouth around it. It is THAT thick. I'm on the larger side and I have never finished more than two slices on my hungriest days. By far, the best quick lunch and in and around the Edmonton area. What bothers me about this place is that it is takeout and delivery only. I wish it was a sit-down restaurant where I could take my family and enjoy this pizza like it should be enjoyed. It also bothers me that it is not located directly beside my house. It is that good. You will not be dissapointed.
