Great little restaurant that feels like Japan. A casual setting which was great for our family. We are looking forward to trying the Ramen which is made in house and available only Wednesday and Thursday. Great food and the service was even better.

The service is excellent, the restaurant was warm and cozy and the food was really good. We will add this to our list of favourite places to eat! \

This was our second visit to Teppan Taro with family. Always nice to be greeted with big smiles by all the staff. The menu offers something for everyone. The appetizer list is unique and extensive - sesame poutine! Those that love sushi & sashimi can choose their own or have the chefs surprise. There are many maki rolls to choose from as well as udon soups and rice dishes, there are also many tempura choices. Like I said something for everyone. We enjoy being able to order such a variety of dishes and share them all.The staff are friendly and the chefs surprise is delivered by the chef. The dessert fruit they offer at the end of the meal is a lovely touch and a perfect end to the meal.Having a staff member walk you out and welcome you back is a nice personal touch.

My family of 4 went for oldest’s 13th birthday. As with the other Japanese Villages in the Edmonton area, this newest edition didn’t disappoint. It’s not very big but still has great food, great service, great chefs, and wonderful atmosphere and decor.
