I absolutely love this place! Authentic delicious and fresh. No rainbow rolls or stuff like that, which I love.My friends and I, who are big eaters, split the Wasabi combo, which is only $26 a person... And it fills us up, exceptional value for the quality offered!Service is always lovely, a family run spot.Go and try it! View all feedback.
What Gordon C doesn't like about Sushi Wasabi:
Food is still very good. Expensive. May be we should have just ordered their signature rolls. Slightly disappointed. We also ordered their udon for $35, nothing to write about. View all feedback.
Authentic Japanese restaurant that's really difficult to come by. The staff there are very helpful and polite. If you want the real deal of Japanese cuisine this is a must try. Once you take a bite you will know the difference in quality and taste authenticity.
What can I say? The food was just fabulous. The location boasts lots of parking and a nice environment to eat.As with all sushi in edmonton nowadays, the price is pretty high. No different here. The quality of the food was just amazing though. Here’s what I ordered: Agedashi tofu assorted sashimi Chirashi bowl mackerel sushi salmon maki tuna maki assorted tempuraEverything was great but I have to say that the tuna mani was the highlight. I don’t know what they do to the fish and how they roll it but the taste is very distinct. This is a place that I can’t afford to eat regularly but I’ll definitely be back for special occasions. I totally recommend this place for sushi.
Fish was very high quality. Great spot if you enjoy sashimi and sushi!
Been coming for years. Food is never less than 5 stars. Always the best bet in Edmonton for high quality sushi.
An authentic Japanese restaurant that reminds me of the time I enjoyed the food in one of those local family restaurant in Japan. Food is excellent, all raw fish were so fresh, cooked dishes taste great. You might find it a little pricey but it is what you pay for what you get. So it is still worth it.We got there at 6pm and we were the last table. Therefore advance reservation is definitely suggested. We had a very enjoyable dinner there and will come back when I miss my Japanese food again.
