Sloppy Hoggs - Edmonton

Saw this on "You Gotta Eat Here" and have been wanting to try it, and we are so glad we did!I got the ribs and they were awesome, I had to get some BBQ sauce on the side though, cause they were dry, no sauce.I got the mashed potatoes and beans, but I tried a little bit of everyone's meal.The Mac and cheese was great, the coleslaw and cornbread were good but the best thing was the grits and brisket! I've never had crispy grits (I've never liked grits) and I honestly regret not having ordered them myself, they were soooo good.The only suggestion I have is that you order all your stuff with gravy on the side. The gravy is just "ok" and it takes away from the meat flavour in my opinion. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff and quick service. We will be back next time we are in Edmonton.

First time to this BBQ place at the recommendation of my cousin. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The only downside, is when it is 30+ outside, they need to invest in an air conditioner. It was super uncomfortable eating while sweat is pouring down your face. Bottom line, you really DO gotta eat here.

Came in for a date night for the first time. Was recommended by family. Amazing BBQ I had the sloppy hog burger. Unreal the meat was so tender and the pineapple was a great flavour to add too . The potato salad and beans were also to die for. All in all just a great bbq place with a great atmosphere and staff was great as well. Will be coming back for sure.

Found this restaurant hidden away on google. Decided to go. Best bbq food out there. Now we go everytime we are in the city

We were a party of 7 and ordered the game day platter , service was great , food was great , more brisket would have been perfect ,beans were not very smokey , but it was a busy night (Saturday) , not quite enough to fill everyone we needed to have salads and dessert , to get a good stuffing , but the food was very good. It seemed a bit expensive to me.
