Was Anonym at Sambol a mag?
We came here to try something different and we are glad we did. We started Seth chicken stuffed roti and vadai (lentil patties with mint sambol). Both had great flavor and was good with hot sauce too. For our main courses we had a beef noodle bowl and the kutthu bowl with mutton. Both were good, but the kutthu bowl was my favorite. The lady who took care of us was wonderful. She was friendly and genuine. I recommend... View all feedback.

I tried Sri Lankan food for the first time and was very impressed! The restaurant offers a variety of dishes that can be made with soy, making it very vegetarian friendly. They have a range of options from small appetizers to large rice and noodle bowls, great for sharing. I tried the banana leaf bowl with soy, which was served with a delicious chutney and caramelized onions. The hoppers and vadai were also tasty. The sambol, a chili coconut garnish, was a new and tasty addition for me. The service was excellent, with the server being very helpful and knowledgeable about the cuisine. The timing of the dishes could have been better, but overall, it was a minor issue. The modern and inviting decor, along with the cleanliness and ample seating, made for a pleasant dining experience. I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try Sri Lankan food.

The food at this restaurant is amazing, the service is great, and the setting is contemporary. It's the perfect place to bring friends who are new to Sri Lankan cuisine. The chef is accommodating and will make milder versions of dishes upon request. It's a fantastic spot for a casual evening out.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food was exceptional. We sampled the beef, fish, and chicken rolls, and each of them was delicious. For our main course, we ordered the banana leaf bowl and string hopper bowl, both of which were amazing. The flavors were a burst of delight in our mouths! I highly recommend this place. The service and interior were also wonderful.

This was my first time at Sambol. Made reservations for 2 on a Saturday. May not be much to look at on the outside, but inside is modern and cozy. Owner was very friendly, she answered our (many) questions about the menu. Food was amazing with fairly large portions. This place is a hidden gem. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic authentic dishes with very friendly service and well lit, modern decor. Best part is the freshly crushed and roasted spices to really bring out the flavor! Went for a team lunch and we had a ton of items including black pepper beef, spicy chicken curry (with curry leaves, yum! , katta sambol (spicy , stuffed roti, kale bowl, briyani mutton bowl, vadia and others! I personally like my food atomic hot, but they prepare it 'moderately spicy ' so make sure you ask for some extra kick if that 's your thing!
