Redstar Cafe offers a mixed experience for customers. Initially praised for good coffee and a cozy atmosphere, the quality and consistency of drinks seems to have declined over time. What User dislikes about Red Star:
The first time I was here, it was very good. A simple order, a single shot of espresso and a cup of steamed milk - it was made properly and it was a good brew. The price was acceptable, though on a bit on the high side in comparison to other local shops. The second time, the experience was not consistent with the first time. I always like the Redstar. It's relaxed, but has a vibe about it. Staff are very friendly, we sat at the bar and we engaged by the bartender, and she was a very good I'm a beer drinker and would prefer some more local ales, but what they have is decent and decently priced. As good as everything is, it's the food at the Redstar that distinguishes it. Crostinis are delicious.

Came here after a show. Delish mini burgers with to DIE for bacon jam! So tasty and hit the spot! Our server was friendly and fun really made our visit a great experience. So nice to have Innis Gun beer (one of our faves) too.Kitchen closes at 11pm so plan accordingly.
I recently went to this restaurant just for drinks and the atmosphere was fantastic. The music was good and not too loud, making it easy to have a conversation. The drinks were delicious and I will definitely be returning.
