Normand's Fine Regional Cuisine

What a lovely place. We were looking for a unique dining experience and we were not disappointed. There was an old world charm to the place and the hospitality was incredible. Normand was so engaging and had the perfect suggestions for our meal. We felt like guests and not customers. We are only visiting Edmonton so I’m not sure when we’ll be able to drop in again, but we’ll recommend it to those who might be travelling through. Thank you so much.

I have tasted Normand’s food before but this was my first in store visit. I found the restaurant, which was busy to be very noisy and very dark. In fact the darkness prevented us from seeing the colours on the plate. I guess nobody told them presentation adds to the dining experience. I had the seafood stew Bouillabaisse and potatoes, which was less flavourful than expected. My wife had the Free Range chicken and wild shrimp vegetables curry, which she loved. We shared the pate, which was good. The service was fine but I think the waiter was more impressed with our meals than I was. I guess he has never had seafood stew made by a bunch of women from Nova Scotia. Now that was an excellent stew.

Had dinner here based on the recommendation of friends. Food (seafood dishes) was excellent. Service attentive without being intrusive. Very good value for money for fine dining. Would I return? You bet.

By far the best restaurant experience I have had, the food was amazing, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was great. Had one of the best meals of my life. Highly recommend giving this gem a try.

It was a wonderful experience for me and my husband tonight! Everything was great and all the staff were so nice and welcoming. The foods were delicious and we enjoyed it a lot totally recommended?
