Noodle 42 - Edmonton

I've been to Noodle 42 numerous times over the last 5 years and their food is pretty consistent when it comes to quality and taste. It's not the most flavorful Vietnamese food I've ever had, but their menu has lots of options. The servers are attentive and able to answer any questions or make substitutions to your meal. They also do phone orders which is nice. They have high chairs for kids and seem to be accommodating. Prices are average for Vietnamese food, and you never have to wait for a table since the restaurant is quite large.

This is my second review of this place, the first one i wrote about 3 years ago. The last year I have noticed that the quality of food had improved. They must have a changed of cook, obvious change of menu. Good value for your buck. My family specially like the meal deal on the first page of their menu. Grilled Pork Chop ( 2 ) fried rice, small soup, pop for $13.95 However they do not have very many other main dish options like the ones you will find in a chinese restaurant ( because this is a viatnamese restaurant) they will have the type of meal where it is a rice or vermicelli on the bottom and then the toppings on top. Their soup ( Pho's ) is failry good, place is always clean, bathroom is clean but could use a major facelift. Servers are wonderful, they are consistent with their service and the food the they put out. Parking is easy to find. Good value.

My family frequents this restaurant more than we go anywhere else, at least once a month. Their pho soups are so delicious and nutritious and hearty, they are great when a person is feeling under the weather or needs a good pick me up. At your request, they will substitute rice noodles for egg noodles. In addition to soups, they also do a number of rice and noodle dishes which are authentic and delicious. I like to eat here because I can get some of my favourite pho ingredients - tendon and tripe. It's always good quality, and affordable. The serving sizes are large enough that most people will leave feeling stuffed. They have a variety of bubble tea flavours and offer Vietnamese iced coffee, as well as tea.

Everytime im thinking of eating this will be my first option. I love all the food and the prices are very good as well. I took my mom there and even she liked, she is such a picky eater and hates eating out so that is saying something. I recomend this 100%

I have been to this restaurant 7 times now. It is our go to restaurant when we are on the Northside of Edmonton. Their beef satay soup is excellent. Their noodle dishes are always a favourite with the kids. They all love the red ham. We have always had great service and the prices are decent.
