Moxie's Grill & Bar - Edmonton

It is always a safe bet to have lunch at Moxie's. The food was very good, and the service is excellent. You cannot go wrong with their Veg Thai Curry. It can be ordered with chicken if required.

We haven't eaten at Moxies for some time and it will likely be a long time again. Our party of 12 recently dined on a Sunday night. The food did not taste like it was freshly prepared and wasn't super flavorful. One of our party likened their dish to food court or airplane food. The service was also quite slow and lackluster. We ordered a variety of dishes and no one raved. It was just ok. We hope that Moxies steps it up as there are competitors within a short distance offering similar fare that we've enjoyed more. Sadly, I don't have a lot of positive to add to the review and this is not my typical review.

Our server was not only professional and polite but was very sensitive to my allergies and my nieces special needs. She triple checked on my allergy item to make sure that I was safe. She bent over backwards to make sure my niece got exactly what she wanted to eat. Thank you.

Took a client to Moxies at their request. Hadn't been for a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised and loved the fact they had a steak salad for lunch. I'm not sure why this isn't standard fare. Anyway excellent salad with a bit of a bite in the dressing. Not a big goat cheese fan but found it mild enough and enjoyed. Service was good but had to ask for a water refill. Best I can say is I definitely won't wait as long before I'm back.

Twelve of us looking for quick decent dinner . We arrived at 6:00 pm. Everyone is seated and has ordered by 6:30 to 6:45. Dinner arrives at 8:00 pm. Just too long to wait at a less than gourmet restaurant. Everybody is served, then I'm told they forgot to put my order in. ( I was first to order). So I'm offered a complimentary salad. My alfredo penne with chicken arrives after everyone else has been eating for some time. Three of the steaks that were ordered came in state that wasn't ordered. Two were overcooked and the sandwich was too tough to eat. They redid all three and were better the second time around. My penne alfredo and chicken was average. While most of the meals were acceptable, those that were not made for a poor dining experience. I found no fault with the service, but I will pass on moxies until I hear of improvements.
