I like the concept behind Vietnamese gourmet fast foodAnd apparently a lot of other people are into it too.
Walking to Mini Mango on a weekday lunch rush, I was greeted with a friendly smile and tons of people waiting for their order.
Small "hole in the wall" type places are generally the best! First time here and ordered the Wor Wonton Soup.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. It is always impeccably clean and the service is fast. The vermicelli bowls are absolutely delicious. The staff are so kind and the food is consistently served piping hot and fresh.
We got take out from Mini Mango last night. We were quite happy with our meal. It was as good if not better then the higher rated Thai restaurants in Edmonton we have tried. We had the Pad Thai, Coconut lemon grass with chicken, Cashew with beef, Coconut rice and salad rolls. Highly recommend the coconut lemongrass dish. It was delicious. Everything was hot, fresh and flavorful. Portion sizes and prices were also decent. If I had to pick on anything the coconut rice was a little blander and dryer then others I have tried. Definitely would try them again when we come back to Edmonton.
