Our grandchildren loved this restaurant and we returned for our Sunday dinner. They were very accommodating as one of our grandchildren had several allergies. They were able gave him and his mother tasty fish to eat. The rest of us had a feast too. Sushi and sashimi were very fresh. The only issue was there was a bit too much wasabi in the sushi and our oldest grandson could not handle it. View all feedback.

After moving to Vancouver, I always still felt the Mikado restaurant rated highly with the Japanese restaurants there. On this visit, I felt quite disappointed with service, quality and taste of the dishes. My past experiences has always been with the downtown location. The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is top-notch! The chicken teriyaki was particularly tasty!
This Japanese restaurant is one of the top choices in town. They have a diverse menu with a great selection of Japanese beers. The variety of fish options is impressive and I highly recommend trying the BBQ squid. The quality of the food is superior to other Japanese restaurants in town, but the prices are slightly higher as a result.
This is my top choice for lunch or delivery. While the portions have become smaller and prices have increased like many places, the food is still delicious and the staff is always friendly. It can get busy during the weekdays at lunch. I'm a bit disappointed that they seem to have changed their sesame sauce.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Edmonton. The price/ quality ratio is perfect.
