Match Eatery and Public House Edmonton Ice District

The steaks we had were amazing! I've eaten at Steakhouses that charge for a steak and these were as good or better. I thought the portion size of the veggies and potatoes was really small and was still hungry after eating. We didn't really care for a DJ playing dance music at a volume that caused us to not be able to hear each other speak at PM before the hockey game. The DJ eventually turned it down but still didn't really feel like a romantic Valentines dinner once the music started

Our group of really enjoyed our lunch experience at Match. The salads were fresh, tasty and generously portioned. We shared salt pepper wings as an appie and were pretty impressed. Given that we were there on a weekday at midday, it was not surprising that the restaurant was not very busy. We also enjoyed our wine cocktail. The only minor issue was that the perfume worn by our server was quite heavyobvious. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed out lunch here will return

Came in during lunch on a weekday with a few friends and nearly had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Good ambiance and friendly atmosphere. Food was great and reasonably priced. Service was quick though we couldn't locate our server when we needed assistance. Would definitely return again

First of all they didn’t check off that we came for our reservation. So Opentable sent me a message about missing reservations. I made a point of telling the waitress we had made a reservation so that this wouldn’t happen. Second of all the waitress seemed very troubled to seat us and made a very snarky comment when I said we had a reservation but were mins late. And, I could literally see her butt cheeks out the bottom of her skirt. No one wants to see your butt on a Sunday morning especially in a family restaurant. Then there wasn’t any brunch even when the website advertises brunch sat and sun When we inquired about brunch the waitress did not apologize or explain why there was no brunch. She just said there was an all day breakfast menu item... that wasn’t even on the menu. The wait staff and managers had no communication. We had multiple people serving us and taking our orders. It was very confusing for everyone involved. I’m really disappointed in the service, how the wait staff and managers speak to the guests and lack of brunch. The food was ok. But nothing worth coming back for. Overall, my experience does not ever make me want to dine at this restaurant again

We couldn't hear each other talking sitting across from each other at the table there was six of us the music was so loud and I'm not talking about the parade that came to the casino I'm talking about the music inside the restaurant we found it Extremely Loud enjoy the food enjoyed our drinks and service but we couldn't hardly talk so we wouldn't recommend it again we want to be able to have a conversation thank you
