My wife ordered a cake for our child’s birthday on a Monday, with a scheduled pickup for Wednesday. When we arrived to collect it on Wednesday, we were informed that the cake had already been given away. Clearly, it had been handed off to someone else in error, so we thought getting a refund would be a simple process. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The older gentleman we dealt with, who I believe is the owner, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. After some frustrating exchanges, during which he effectively accused us of lying and claimed that someone we knew had already picked it up, we asked for a refund, but he outright refused. Instead, he offered us a generic cake as a substitute, rather than the custom cake for which we had paid extra. This was not an acceptable solution for us. We had specifically chosen toppings and custom lettering, and we didn’t want a lesser cake for the same price. On top of that, his aggressive tone made us uncomfortable and unwilling to support their business any further. We left feeling very disappointed on what was meant to be a joyful occasion. Additionally, they contacted us later, asking us to come back on their terms so that the employee who mistakenly gave away our cake could be present. They seemed to think it was our responsibility to ensure that they don’t make such a mistake again. It should be noted that they didn't ask for ID, didn’t provide an order slip, and failed to verify that the person picking up the cake was the one who had placed the order. They even mentioned that their security cameras were down at the time, so they couldn’t check who picked it up. While it’s disappointing that someone else took our cake, what truly stands out is how poorly we were treated as loyal customers who simply wanted a cake for our child's birthday celebration. I’ve never written a negative review before, but I hope this warning helps at least one other family avoid the frustrating experience we had with this rude and unprofessional establishment. Lastly, if you do decide to order a cake from here, please do not pay for it until you pick it up. If possible, use a credit card to ensure you have options if they refuse to refund you for a cake you never received. Kid-friendliness: We will never bring our child here. The owners are unnecessarily rude and aggressive when disagreements arise.

The restaurant was quiet during our visit, and we decided to try the birthday cake ice cream with an assortment of toppings, along with the regular waffle cone, which was absolutely fantastic.

In this case, the owner of our store—a kind and courteous individual—actually offered the customer a complimentary cake, but they declined. This was a first-time experience for us, as we pride ourselves on treating our valued customers like family and friends. We hope everyone can learn from this situation, and we encourage our wonderful customers to leave us positive reviews.

The new owners are fantastic! The kind older gentleman on staff offered my son a complimentary lollipop and water. The restaurant was very clean and inviting.

10/10 ice cream and service. Love this place and the owners. Support local!!!
