I'm a vegetarian and there was plenty of options for me to choose from.We ordered both the meat and veg sambusa, I of course only tried the veg but they had loads of flavour, and I got the impression the meat ones where the same.I also tried the... The restaurant is pleasant enough ... the server had a bit of a attitude when I told her I did not enjoy the veg Sambusa it was tiny, brittle and tasteless without much filling (fried in old oil) ... I recently discovered that Langano Skies will be closing at the end of June. It's my go-to spot for delicious Ethiopian cuisine and I absolutely love the ambiance there.
Trying Ethiopian food for the first time can feel intimidating, at least that was my initial experience when I visited Langano Skies in 2009.

I'm a vegetarian and there was plenty of options for me to choose from.We ordered both the meat and veg sambusa, I of course only tried the veg but they had loads of flavour, and I got the impression the meat ones where the same.I also tried the Foul which was mild but delicious. The meat eaters all agreed that their fave dish was 'Curried Yebeg Tibs' whereas mine was the 'Yemisir Kik Wot'.The food was relatively pricey, $130 for enough to feed 4, with a small amount left over. But I'd happily pay it again as it was so delicious! Service over the phone was also great.
Real (!!!) Ethiopian food and coffee. Excellent place: really good quality food, cozy place, really good service. The best food I have had here in Canada (am from Europe)
