I was excited to have a fresh choice for lunch so close by. The opening was anticipated, but now I wish there was another restaurant there. There are days the espresso machine isn't working (guessing they don't know how to use it) I have ordered an item, go back next week for the same item and they say they don't have it, and don't believe that you had it before from them. The staff are bored and poorly trained and if you even look towards the restaurant they are on you like piranhas trying to serve you even though you are no where near them.Management: Get organized, fix the menu and train your staff. You could have a good thing being so close to the arena and lots of office buildings.

I'm sure most people who work in Bell Tower have been patiently awaiting the opening of La Prep. I was very excited for fresh healthy breakfast options right in the tower. Today was the first day they opened, the place looks great - clean, welcoming with a cute little fireplace (that gives off no heat). I ordered the English muffin (egg, cheese, and tomato) but on a bagel. The line wasn't long maybe 5 people and their were 3 ladies working and 2 gentleman helping out. I understand they are new but the systems for a work environment to be successful should already be in place. The lady making sandwiches and no chits (tickets for food) and was just asking people what they ordered and how they wanted it - what kind of bagel, what kind of mayo, toasted? okay fine I'll pay attention make sure its my turn and then tell her what I want - but she got it wrong and made me a ham bagel even with me standing right there and telling her what I wanted. I dunno set up was fricken weird...If it was busy that place was would be NIGHTMARE. I waited 15 mins for the wrong bagel. It was pretty good even though it wasn't what I ordered. I will def go back but if I have to wait that long again - I won't be able to.

The small gestures in customer service are what set La Prep apart and earn it top marks.

I was excited to find a new lunch option so conveniently located near me. I was initially hopeful when the restaurant opened, but now I wish there was a different establishment in its place. There are occasions when the espresso machine is not working properly, as staff seem to struggle with operating it. On one visit, I ordered a dish only to return the following week to order the same item, only to be told they never had it before. The staff appear disinterested and poorly trained, and they are overly attentive to customers in a pushy manner. My suggestion to management would be to improve organization, update the menu, and provide better training for the staff. With its convenient location near the arena and office buildings, this restaurant has potential to succeed if these improvements are made.

I'm sure that many people who work near the bell tower have been eagerly awaiting the opening of La Prep. I was thrilled to have fresh, healthy breakfast options right in the tower. Today was their first day open, and the place looked clean and inviting, with a small, charming café area. I ordered the English muffin with egg, cheese, and tomato, but on a bagel instead. The line wasn't long, and there were friendly women and men working. However, I found the lack of an organized system concerning. The staff made sandwiches without taking orders or using tickets, instead asking customers directly for their preferences. While I tried to communicate my order clearly, my bagel still came out wrong. Despite the mix-up, it was pretty good. I plan to give La Prep another chance, but if the wait time remains an issue, I may not return.
