What Alfreda Stoltenberg doesn't like about KFC:
Went through the drive thru at 7:09PM. They didn't have any chicken ready. Isn't peak times 5-8pm. Order our food, pay for it and THEN after the transaction is approved she proceeds to tell us a 7 minute wait. 20 minutes later the employee comes out to tell us another 4 minutes left on our food but it already been 20 minutes. I ordered through Skip the Dishes. I ordered 2 orders of 20 wings each. 40 wings . I received 1 order and they would not go back for the other order unless I re-ordered through the website again. Skip did credit me 1 order as well as delivery charge and tip. The wings were good.
20 minutes (long lineup), ordered and waited. The person taking the order took my receipt away from the counter and then somehow misplaced it. People who ordered well after me got their orders filled and left. Waited. Waited. Finally, the counter staff member asked me what my order was again, as she had lost the receipt. I had to repeat my order twice and she was impatient and kept interrupting me. Finally, about 15 minutes after I ordered, I got my order. There were now very few customers. I asked for a copy of my receipt and the staff member looked upset. She asked for help from a fellow employee and they spoke in their language with angry tones (Tagalog, I believe) with a few key words in English while she looked upset at me. Finally she gave me the receipt with very sarcastic and condescending tones. I had been understanding of the lineups and had waited patiently through the whole experience, but was very upset at how the service ended. Never going back here!
I have been to this location several times in the past 15 years. On this occasion I got chicken that was so cold that by the time I got home the skin and fat had shrunk and become congealed. The fries had the consistency of wooden sticks. They originally forgot to give me the large gravy but I noticed that deficiency before I left the restaurant because I checked to make sure each item was there. I emailed KFC about the experience and the General Manager offered to replace the meal at my convenience. I have not been back to have the replacement yet. In the past the food was generally so hot that it was steaming when I got home after a 10 minute drive home. I have no idea what went wrong. Likely what was given to me had been sitting for too long already. I will post another review once I have had the replacement that has been offered.
Have never ordered for delivery but always have gone in person for pick-up Food has always been good, fresh, and the order accurate.
The store is very old style it's well kept but clearly not up to date with the rest of the other stores.
