This has got to be one of our favourite Chinese restaurants in Edmonton. It's a total hole in the wall and about as basic as you can get for atmosphere but the food makes it all worth while.A must try is the fried seafood with spicy salt. It will blow your mind. Not a fan of Cantonese food, but this was probably better than the other few competitors in the city. In regards to Cantonese food, it's overloaded in oil and carbs while simultaneously lacking any striking flavour. Would love to see a twist on Cantonese food that was spicy, that would be delicious. A family lover! Waitress is super friendly! Deepfried squid and yang chow roasted rice are always srumptious. If you are well served in search of authentic Chinese, that is the place! The tea is really good and it also comes free. The staff will feel you at home. This is an amazing Chinese restaurant and would highly recommend if you are not looking for Western Chinese and looking for something more authentic!
I love this family-run restaurant. Everyone is wonderful and friendly. Great food for decent price. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it. It's a true hidden secret. Would recommend
Kallin is a great Chinese restaurant with friendly service. This family run restaurant has never failed to fill our stomachs with great tasting Chinese seafood. Most of all we go for the owner who will remember your face and name every time you eat or order takeout!
A great place to go with family or friends. The portions are big, the service is good, parking is available, and the food itself is good. We loved the seafood, rice, and lemon chicken dishes the most. Definitely will be going back!
Good selection of food, great owners, and some of the better lobster you will find. Clean and comfortable, if dated, interior. Parking is available in back, and prices are very reasonable for portion size.
