What Jen M likes about Japanese Village:
We went to the West Edmonton Mall location as a family of 6. Right from the start, our table chef, Tyson, was fantastic! His easy going nature, jokes, interaction with our kids and cooking abilities were top notch. A 10/10 for everything. Thank you Tyson for such excellent service and of course cooking. We were a group of 7 friends. The service was ok and the food was good. Average compared to other Japanese restaurants. Chef was silly but entertaining. Might come back if people want to go again. View all feedback.

read moreJapanese Village in Southside Edmonton offers a unique dining experience with entertaining chefs who cook your food right in front of you. While the service and atmosphere were praised by many, some guests found the food to be lacking in flavor or quality. The restaurant seemed to cater well to larger groups, providing a fun and interactive dining experience. Overall, opinions on Japanese Village seem to vary, with some diners enjoying the entertainment factor while others felt it was not worth the price. It may be worth trying at least once for those who have never been before, but may not be a top choice for a return visit based on mixed reviews.
