Hudsons - Edmonton

A colleague and I visit Hudson's in South Edmonton common regularly and sometimes the service is great and sometimes, not so good. That goes the same for the food. We will both order medium rare and one comes out that way and the other comes out well done.

A group of us were going to meet at Hudson for beverages and appies only to find the building is no longer there and the location has closed.

Enjoyed this pub. Met with several co-workers to enjoy USA Thanksgiving Day Football. Service was very good, beer was good and pub food also very good.

I will admit that this is a lunch review I don't know what it's like vis a vis the bar scene for all I know there are knife fights every night or people driving motorcycles inside but as far as a place to go for lunch I would rate the food and service as good as anywhere in Edmonton. The food is fresh, a bit quirky but really works together, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is nice and clean. As far as lunch goes I would definately go again.

Needed some lunch, but more important needed to see the end of the soccer match. Stopped in at Hudsons had a great lunch. I was able to get a nice booth with a good size telly right in front of me. Not a bad seat in the house as far as viewing the matches is concerned. Food is good, nice clean restaurant, wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I will go back to Hudsons
