This is a family friendly restaurant serves excellent Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price . A small restaurant with some tables for two to four people. Large tables for ten or more people. The owner is very friendly and the food is delicious. The menu is mostly Cantonese. They have a good selection of meat including chicken, beef, pork dishes. The food was ok. But I have to say that the waitress was very rude. One of the rudest waitress I have ever seen. She was yelling at me while I tried to order food from her on the phone. Would not try to understand my order and expect me to come to the restaurant to order. I had the worst costumer service ever. I have ordered delivery from this restaurant several times. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. I will definitely be returning!
I was served ginger beef, but it was so tough and lacked flavor. It was a terrible excuse for Chinese cuisine.
Good food! The portions were small and it was a bit expensive. $90 for all the food seen in the photos. Would suggest trying this place
I'm happy to say that the food and service at Hot Wok are still consistently excellent. We've been enjoying this restaurant for several years, and were delighted to try a few new menu items. I don't like bok choy, but LOVED the crispy bok choy here. I don't like bean sprouts, but LOVED the sprouts here. Seriously, Hot Wok's is the best Chinese food I've ever had - very fresh, VERY flavorful and cooked perfectly.Service is prompt, efficient, and pleasant. The larger interior space is great, although parking can be challenging. Come early!
I had been to the previous location of this restaurant before. I like the food quality and service, however due to its popularity, it gets too busy and the smaller restaurant cannot accommodate for diners on certain weekends. This sometimes drives the regulars away as they are unable to get reservations sometimes too.Well, the management smarten up and decided to move to a bigger space, however the parking did not improved.The new location is 10050 158 Street NWThe prices are slightly higher than other comparable places but they are more delicious. Definitely I recommend reservations to avoid disappointment.
