Fatburger Okotoks - Edmonton

Really delicious especially when you eat it there. The owner was really friendly and excited to be there which just made the whole experience more enjoyable. I highly recommend!

So, we've tried this place twice now. Went in first time and ordered a summer special combo, a burger combo, a poutine and a veg burger combo. Waited for 30+ minutes. Staff was friendly, but obviously in training with owner present. Made wrong burger for veg, gave us the extra and we waited another 15 for the correct burger. Meanwhile gave us our drinks including a shake. Delicious shake, but totally melting while we waited. Got home, opened bag, we were missing a fry. Called and owner said to come back, it's too late now to wait 20 more minutes for a fry we tell her. She says just tell her next time. Fine. So the second time we order we do it online, less wait we figure. 2 summer specials ordered, with added toppings, a special fry, a poutine. Go to pick up 5 min later than online directed. Wait 15min for order, but the owner did give the extra fry from last time. Get home with order, the extra fry is there, but no fries that were supposed to be in the combos, that's 2 fry missing. Burgers have no toppings. Call store. They remake entire order no problem, but now it's way too late to eat it. The owner is great and takes responsibility for the store's mistakes, but who wants to feed their family at 8p? Just train your staff and then open for business. We won't be back. Food tastes great when it's done correctly finally, but too little too late.

Thankful for vegan options! Ordered the veggie burger for the second time ask for: no mayo ,no cheese aka vegan version and was once again brought a delicious veggie burger that doesn't have a weird artificial meat flavour this patty is veggie* based . They have 3 vegetarian options in total but not a solely vegan one so you will have to read what's on it and specify with the waitress what's in it/ what not* to include on your order : This location is weird in the sense it is inside* a Rickis but I always order for take out so it's all g . Also the waitress was really nice to me when I went in : Hope the review and photos help someone out

I ordered online to save time when I arrived there they forgot to do my order( they are not busy at all) and I wait for more than 10 minutes to take my order. The lady didn't even apologize or compensate me for that. I sent an email as they requested but unfortunately no response. The owner response is just for showing off.

The burger was ridiculous. Veggie patty was very dried and hard, not properly thawed. I had fat burgers for the first time as it was just a horrible experience. Not sure about other locations but this is what I would never recommend.
