Reviews - Earls
Reviews summary
Earls on Jasper Avenue offers a dining experience that is hit or miss, with inconsistent food quality and service. Customers have noticed a decline in the menu and food quality over the years, leading to disappointment among long-time patrons. The restaurant is also criticized for being noisy, expensive, and slow with service. However, there are still positive aspects such as the friendly service from staff members like Natasha K., and the cozy patio with good food and service. Despite some hiccups, many customers still appreciate Earls for its dependable food and welcoming atmosphere, making it a popular choice for dining out.

Even though this is not a vegan restaurant, they excel at crafting delicious vegan dishes and catering to their guests' needs. Personally, I adore their Buffalo cauliflower - it's my go-to dish! View all feedback.
What Beanz dislikes about Earls:
The menu at this restaurant is quite typical for a chain restaurant, but I am happy to see that they now offer almost a whole page of vegan options. My personal favorite are the cauliflower wings, although I am disappointed to see that they have been removed from the menu. The restaurant has added a few more vegan options, but I must say, they are a bit lacking in flavor. View all feedback.

Was greeted beautifully this evening on our girls night out.Our server “assistant” Anna was amazing, and truly made our night so memorable. Our main server never introduced himself and was rather unknowledgeable… I over heard multiple tables (5) that were on the patio complaining to sweet Anna about how the service was.Anna engaged with our two children and made them smile and giggle throughout our experience.Food and atmosphere was incredible as always.
First time at this location, as usual, perfect ambient, delicious food, and best drinks in town.Definitely I would recommend this place. Thanks to Hanna, our server this time. What a girl!! ?
Decided to go for a walk tonight along the river valley and ended up at Earls. Danielle was a sweetheart, so awesome!!! Also, a shout out to the hostesses. They were so nice! The corn and avocado dip was good, liked the white sangria too. Thanks for the great experience Earls!!!Susan
First time visiting this Earls and everything was fantastic. Service and food were great. I had the 6oz Cajun Blackened Sirloin with confit butter, mashed potatoes and subbed seasonal veggies with a Caesar salad. All in all, I’ll be returning.

I went to dinner with some friends who are not vegan. I ordered the vegan Hunan kung pao, but when it arrived, there were chunks of chicken on top. I let the waitress know and she took my plate back to the kitchen. After about 15 minutes, the waitress came back to ask about our meals. I pointed to the empty spot in front of me and said I was still waiting. She checked in the kitchen and told me that no one had placed the order for the vegan dish, so she did it then. By the time my meal arrived, everyone else had finished eating. The kung pao was delicious and Earls comped my dish, but this has happened to me twice at two different Earls locations in Edmonton. It seems like they don't take vegan customers seriously. The whole point of dining out with friends is to eat together. Next time my non-vegan friends are in town, I will insist on going to Padmanadi instead.
Like all earls, they’ve got their plant based menu which is awesome! 5 vegan options with a great variety. My favourite is the vegan Hunan hung pao!

I have have eaten their beyond meat burger, tofu zen bowel, LOVE their buffalo cauliflower. I’ve been waiting for a nice restaurant to add a plant based menu with flavour and veganized common comfort foods. I like their vegan ranch and mayo. you can tell they put thought into this menu. Better than other places vegan menu. Lovely for a night out with family, or a date.
