Contribute FeedbackThe buffet at the horse races received mixed reviews, with many pleasantly surprised by the food quality, though some noted a decline post-menu changes. While the selection was varied, including excellent desserts, disappointments arose with lukewarm dishes and inadequate breakfast offerings later in the day. Service frustrations were common, as guests experienced long waits for drinks and a lack of attentiveness from staff. Despite these issues, the lively atmosphere and the excitement of the races made for a memorable outing, with many patrons expressing a willingness to return, albeit with lowered expectations for dining.
We were disappointed when we arrived there, there was only one buffet. the waiter, erick, was inconspicuous and didn't seem to be there.
The buffet is bad. racing was good, service super. music is not required, please!
Mostly good, but we (my group of was disappointed that if we were still served on round or the BREAKFAST buffet, instead of a proper dinner type buffet, especially for the price.
I was running a few times the years to colors, this last experience was not very good in terms of food quality, service was fighting, but it was fun to watch the horses. next time I will go to the outside area and have only natchos and beer, and it will be closer to the horses!
We had fun. Our waiter was excellent. Food was good. Too bad Northlands made the decision to end horse races since going to Colours was a very enjoyable way to enjoy the races and a meal. It was full house last Wednesday night, an indication that people still value that type of entertainment. I am really mad at Tim Reid, the old CEO of NP for leading Northlands in that direction of closing down the track. Glad he's gone before he ruins anything else.
