Contribute FeedbackChianti's is a restaurant that generally offers a consistent dining experience. While some customers were disappointed in the lack of taste and quality of the food, they did appreciate the friendly and accommodating service provided by the staff. Many guests found the atmosphere to be enjoyable and the prices to be reasonable. The restaurant offers great options for group dining and special deals on certain days of the week. Overall, while some had negative experiences with the food, others found the experience to be delightful and praised the customer service and quality of the dishes.
Chianti is a long time favorite of mine. I like the atmosphere, it's cosy for such a big space. I like the food, it's hearty and delicious but it never leaves me feeling weighted down unless I really ignore common sense. I like the staff, always friendlyand professional. Almost like they enjoy their jobs. Mondays and Tuesdays are pasta frenzy which increases the already solidvalue. Not to be missed are the buns, the Cesar salad, or anything for that matter, I've never been disappointed. Beware, however, the lasagne comes out as hot as the sun. Is it authentic? I can't say. It's damn tasty and that's good enough for me.
Ambience is nice and classy. Also the servers were really nice too. It is an Italian place. They welcome you with some fresh and warm Italian breads ???? and butter. They have lot of options for pasta. Although the menu looks tempting, the food was not upto the expectations. I would really like them to take a note on that. It would be just perfect!
This is my absolute FAVOURITE spot in Edmonton. I have been coming here for around 10 years with family and friends and the prices for pasta on Mondays and Tuesdays is unbeatable. The food is always fresh and comes out in record time. Their pasta menuis huge! Literally anything you could want is on there! The buns are absolutely amazing and free! The staff is always sofriendly and the management always makes you feel special for special occasions. Whether you are from Edmonton or visiting youNEED to eat here! If you need inspiration on what to order my favourite is the Tortellini Marchese.
Food here is pretty good for the value. Not true, authentic Italian food, but you get what you pay for. Service is okay, but restaurant is very busy of course so don?t expect extremely personal service. Cocktails/wine are also fairly priced, the winelist is just a bit limited for an Italian restaurant in my opinion. Overall, a good spot for a more affordable dinner, especially on Monday and Tuesday when pasta is $12.99.
I do not complain much, but I'm trying to find things I really liked about the place. We used to live in Edmonton and we visited Chianti's at least once a month, but with the service and food we had during this visit it would be lucky to stop in once every year.Service was not that great, and nowhere near as good as the Calgary locations, and the food was really not that good either.I ordered Veal with pasta, and it came to the table with ravioli, so she took it back, not a big deal as mistakes happen and she returned 30 seconds later with spaghetti now on the plate. Now I can eat anything, but I really struggled to eat my meal, veal was terrible, and the cheese was like it was melted on the ham in the microwave and then placed on the veal. Honestly this must have been a huge off night all around as my son goes here a lot and he even said it was off. This place needs a good cleaning, and training of staff.
