Cafe Beirut - Edmonton

We purchased a Groupon offering food at Cafe Beirut. We arrived at Cafe Beirut looking forward to Mediterranean food. What we observed was our table and one other were ordering a meal. The rest of guests were ordering hookah pipes and bottled water. We found this interesting and but not disturbing. However as the evening went on, the place filled with guests smoking. As our food arrived, the air was so full of smoke and the smell overpowered our dinner. It was hard to enjoy our food. It seems strange that we purchased a Groupon for food when food didn't appear to be the main focus of this cafe. Disappointed!

Enjoyed a savory and relaxing lunch at new location on 124 street. Service was attentive but well spaced. Kafta was nicely spiced and fatoush salad was very fresh. Servings were large and all at table agreed we were leaving full and would return. Has kept cafe de ville deco with new accents - nice transition while keeping the warm ambiance.

We had a groupon to try the new Cafe Beirut, on 107 street just south of Jasper Ave. We started with the falafel, had two different mixed grills for main course, and the baklava for dessert. We enjoyed every bite! The food was tasty, fresh, the baklava was amazing. The food was well priced, and the service was friendly.I'd absolutely recommend this little place.

This little cafe has wonderful food at a great price. Everything is very fresh and prepared on the spot, which means you may have to wait a bit for your meal, but it is well worth it. It is great for takeout too.

Ordered hummus a quesadilla and some cute little beef (looked like a pirogi, was not a pirogi) I had it delivered by skip the dishes.
