Bodega always impresses! One of our party has gluten intolerance and dairy allergy, and these guys understand how to ensure a safe and tasty meal.We just had tapas, but each was fantastic grilled octopus, scallops, and huge shrimp were all gluten and dairy free. We also had Portuguese bread and a mixed mushroom dish that were incredible! We’ve been to Bodega and Sabor a number of times, and will definitely continue to... View all feedback.
What Linda Huynh doesn't like about Bodega Tapas Wine:
Never coming back to this restaurant. Found a huge lettuce bug in our dish crawling around. Check your food before you eat it. All the restaurant did was take the plate away did not even offer to comp anything. Worst experience ever. Immediately lost my appetite and couldn't finish with the rest of dinner. Didn't even bother taking the left overs. If I could rate this zero stars I would. View all feedback.
As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a lovely and cozy decor featuring warm wood, brick, and soft lighting. The tables are well-spaced, so you won’t have to worry about people bumping into your chair or shouting over the din from neighboring tables. You can genuinely feel the quality, care, and passion that goes into this restaurant. The table settings are stunning, and even their disposable napkins feel like linen! They’re made from recycled paper and actually imported from Italy (we asked, and our waitress kindly brought us an unopened package to show us!). I ordered the Seafood Paella, which included prawns, scallops, calamari, mussels, and clams on a bed of Spanish-style saffron rice with vegetables. There was so much seafood that I couldn't even see the rice until I dug in. It was absolutely delicious and very filling. You could really taste the freshness of the seafood and vegetables, all perfectly cooked. For dessert, I threw caution—and calorie counting—to the wind and indulged in the Triple Chocolate Slab, which featured white and dark chocolate, an Oreo cookie crust, ice cream, and blackberry coulis. If you’re a chocolate lover, this is pure paradise! I’ll definitely be back, but next time for dinner. I absolutely loved it here! Thank you!
We opted for the family-style menu and added some extras to the first course. The oysters were incredible, and the piri piri prawns were equally impressive. The mussels and clams were tender and delicious in a creamy tomato sauce. We also tried the eggplant curry dip, which was delightful, alongside the marinated olives. For the main course, we enjoyed haddock and sea bream served on a bed of lobster risotto—it was rich, flavorful, and there was so much of it that we couldn’t finish it all. The trio of desserts was a lovely treat, featuring a crème brûlée-style custard, tart cherry cheesecake, and a wonderful bitter chocolate mousse that complemented the meal perfectly. We went through two bottles of Villa Real rosé and were surprised with two special "birthday ports" to celebrate. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience, the best we've had in Edmonton at any restaurant. We will definitely be returning!
I had an excellent dining experience in Edmonton with outstanding service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. The Piri Piri prawns were fantastic, and I would highly recommend them!
5 star plus this is the best restaurant in Edmonton by far. The food and service are amazing, I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Congratulations !
The food was absolutely delicious and service was great. Our waiter was friendly and accomodating even when he was super busy! Definitely recommend this place!
