Went for dinner and was very disappointed.We had the scampi and the chicken. First off, the vegetables were still raw. Although we had a completely different main dish, we recieved identical vegetables, pasta and sauce. No consideration as to how it all goes together. Both our dishes had too much salt.Usually don't post reviews, but it's a mystery to me how this restaurant can have such a good rating. View all feedback.

I love love love Allegro! We try to make a trip every time we come to Edmonton.
First, the service was absolutely phenomenal. The food was fantastic. The lightly fried calamari melted in the mouth. The seafood linguine had twice the amount of seafood than anywhere I've been, and that white wine sauce was light and perfect, and the cannelloni was spot on. Yes, some can say it's pricey, but you do get what you pay for, from the service to the food.
Very good food. And portion size to match! Rare to find good quality food and a filling meal these days! And I did not get her name but super awesome waitress! She was a lot of fun and made the dining experience even better! Also rare and nice to see a restaurant where the employees actually love their job! Will be back!
