The beans and corn bread were phenomenal and real mashed potatoes. My friend ordered the grilled chicken salad and it was huge looked really good she said it was amazing. Would highly recommend this place will be going back.

As for the food, it was decent but very basic. I found the menu lacking in prices, and it turned out to be more expensive than expected. For instance, a side of two small French toasts cost $5.50, and with my coffee and my mother's breakfast, the total came to around $17, or $20 with tip. Honestly, I could have gotten a full grilled steak lunch at Applebee's for about the same price. They do have a Hunts Brothers franchise, which might be a more cost-effective choice (I really enjoy Hunts Brothers). The coffee was fair, and the bathroom was quite clean. While I probably wouldn’t make this a regular stop, the friendly staff gives it a nice hometown feel, making it a good place to grab coffee in my opinion. Next time I visit, I hope to take my wife along and share some pictures!
