Interestingly, there was extra space available. I would suggest that management gets creative in adding more comfortable seating. Given the fantastic location at the heart of it all, the dining area could be much more inviting for people to enjoy their coffee and scones while relaxing.

Here’s what happened: I went in to order my usual grande hot Oleato, a treat I’ve enjoyed before. To my surprise, the price had jumped to $9.45. I noticed a poster on the wall advertising it for $5.95, so I politely asked the barista, Andre, if there had been a mistake, as I had ordered it at that price not long ago. Andre informed me that making it hot required an additional charge, which confused me since I was simply looking for the Oleato as it is traditionally served and advertised. I explained, “I don’t want anything extra; if the poster says $5.95 for an Oleato, I would like to order that one, please.” After some hesitation, Andre reluctantly agreed with a dismissive “fine.” As I waited, I looked forward to enjoying my favorite Oleato. Instead, I was given a regular latte, completely different from what we had discussed. This switch felt dismissive and overlooked my straightforward request. I’m sharing this not out of frustration, but to provide constructive feedback. I believe in the importance of communication and getting the details right. The rest of the Starbucks team has always been friendly and accommodating, so I appreciate them for not making the situation worse. Thank you!
