What Susie W dislikes about Leftcraft:

This is undoubtedly one of the biggest disappointments in Edmonds. The building and ambiance are lovely, and the service is decent. However, the food is simply terrible. We’ve given it three chances, and each time it has gotten worse. This could explain why the restaurant is usually empty while others in Edmonds are bustling. They really need to completely overhaul their menu and kitchen staff. View all feedback.

I've tried the Beef Kimchi Bowl, Surf Turf Bowl, and the Main Street Burger. While I found the food to be acceptable, I was left wanting more from each dish. Both bowls could have benefited from a bit more protein, and the flavors were on the milder side, lacking a bit of depth. I could see the kitchen using fresh ingredients, indicating that the preparation is solid, but the flavors just aren't there yet. They seem to be on the right track, but the dishes could use a bolder balance of spices or sauces to really elevate their taste. As for the burger, it was just an average burger—not bad, but nothing to write home about. Nevertheless, Leftcraft is a fantastic venue for large groups, as the drink menu and food options are likely to satisfy everyone’s preferences. It’s also a great place to catch a game or unwind with a drink after a long day or week. If they can enhance the flavors a bit, it could become a truly exceptional spot in Edmonds, filling the need for a nice beer hall where you can enjoy both food and sports.

I visited again this past week for a mid-week, mid-afternoon Happy Hour featuring a $10 burger. I must say, this burger was far better than the $20-something burger I had previously. So, what should we take from this? Was my earlier experience just a fluke, or was the pricier burger the odd one out? Perhaps the takeaway is to come during Happy Hour! I was also quite disappointed to find out they don't serve French fries, which is a shame. These two go hand in hand, and it would be great to see them offered together. Let's not separate this classic pairing!

The service provided by Alex was excellent, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, the food didn't meet expectations. The burger was overcooked, and the chicken lacked proper seasoning. Diners in downtown Edmonds expect top-quality cuisine; they may be patient for a while, but they become unforgiving if issues persist despite receiving consistent feedback. This restaurant has the potential to be great, and I sincerely hope that the management takes the common concerns about food quality seriously.

Go to Leftcraft when you are in Edmonds! The pear and bluecheese flatbread was very good but when I snuck a bite of my husband's beer bratwurst sandwich it was divine! I can't stop thinking about it. Welcoming, wonderful service. We'll be back!

Came in with a few colleagues for lunch. The restaurant wasn't too busy at that time. Yet we waited for 90+ mins for the food, and by then I had to leave so I never got mine. When I told the staff to cancel my order, both the manager and the waitress gave me attitude! I don't know how long my colleagues had to wait to get their food. What happened at the restaurant is that they were apparently understaffed, one of the cooks walked out that day, and one of their less experienced employees broke down in tears. I get it, it's hard to find good workforce and sometimes stuff happens, but at the least don't leave the patrons waiting and waiting. Don't keep on seating more and more of them until the place is packed with angry, unsuspecting patrons! Tell your patrons what's going on as early as possible, and offer them the opportunity to leave and cancel their order early, so they don't waste their time waiting, run late to their appointments, or be forced to skip lunch and cancel after a long wait. This is so unprofessional and inconsiderate to the schedule and comfort of your patrons. The restaurant was otherwise what'd you expect. Rather expensive. Food is only so so (I wouldn't know, but so said my colleagues). And service and ambiance could be so much better.

I had surgery a couple days ago and had my heart set on the ribs here as a treat during my recovery. When the server took our order, I told him I knew what I wanted before we got there. I was so excited! About five minutes later, I went to find him at the bar to add a drink to my order. He was pouring our drinks and said he was about to come let us know they were out of ribs. Which two of us were sharing. AFTER placing the rest of our order and pouring our drinks. So here’s the thing. Obviously, restaurants run out of food. Especially popular, delicious things like ribs. That happens. BUT, (and as a former server myself), if someone says “this item is why I’m here” and you’re out of it, TELL THEM IMMEDIATELY. As in, you need to know what’s 86’ed BEFORE people order, because that is your literal job. If he’d told us before he started prepping our food and drinks, we would have gone somewhere else. I mean no offense, but the rest of the food Leftcraft serves is good but not great, doesn’t accommodate our dietary needs well, and also, crucially, not what I had been craving. So the three of us spent a bunch of money on “meh” food because the server couldn’t be bothered to let us know right away and locked us all into an unimpressive experience (including him, because I am not a delight when I wanted ribs and got a mediocre beef kimchi bowl, one of the only other menu items I could eat). Now I know better. I’ll call next time to be sure they have ribs, rather than assume. That’s on me. But couldn’t we all have had a better time if he’d alerted us right away? We could have thanked himhad a beverage while we found another restauranttipped him handsomely for his efficiency and careand left before I turned into a crankypants whose dearly hoped for food turned out to be Not Ribs. Review of actual food: Roasted beet salad was fine but didn’t have enough dressing on it, beef kimchi bowl was the most disappointing beef bowl I’ve ever had (oddly lacking in flavor, which, HOW, it’s faux Korean) and gave me really bad indigestion for some reason, mother’s pot pie was good but her green salad was excellent, partner’s tofu bowl was fine but underwhelming and a bit small.

Randomly ended up here for a late dinner last night and we were pleasantly surprised! Service was really friendly, food (pot pie, sandwich, and salads definitely satisfied our taste buds and tasted like it was prepared from scratch, the portions were great (anyone complaining about portions clearly doesn’t eat out in Seattle much or is comparing to chains or doesn’t understand food costs! , and drinks were good. So yeah! We’ll definitely be back again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Chicken Pot Pie Potato Salad, Fish Sandwich
