Around the Corner - Edmond

The best place for a home cooked food! this is my breakfast place! everything I have eaten here is amazing and the orange juice should die!

Here is nostalgia central! really a edmond gem. roll out the bed, throw up a few shades, and make her go round around the corner if they want an breakfast without the effort of cleaning after. feels like home. hangover cures on the side. sit next to the orange juice machine and prepare to be amazed. breakfast in the bed. the staff is real, so be no fool. they are a step closer to calling themselves a edmondite after a meal of around the corner.

Slow service. School cafeteria food. We visited Around the Corner on Sunday 3/29. Got there just before 11:00. Took over 30 minutes to receive our food. I ordered pot roast. Husband ordered meatloaf. Both were cold. The gravy in the roast tasted like the stuff you make from a package. Ordered green beans. They were basically from a can. Waited another 20 minutes for our check. Eventually calculated our bill and left money on the table, which sucked because that gave slow service a good tip but we were ready to get the heck outta Dodge at that point! Will not go back.

Around the corner is terrible. I went there on a Tuesday and it took 10 minutes to just have our waiter to bring us our drinks and the restaurant wasn't even busy. To make it worse they said I couldn't get the combo I wanted without eggs they said I would have to order each item separately. I thought that was the stupidest thing I've ever heard and I ordered a cup of orange juice it was supposed to be a large and it was a small cup and when I got my ticket my bill was $12.22 becuase my orange juice was $4.00 itself and the food wasn't even that good. So I do not recommend I just wonder how this place is even still open! No breakfast should be over 8 dollars unless it's steak or pork...read more

Service gone down. Service was poor at best. No spoon for your coffee. When they did offer a refill they didn't bring creamer. When asked for creamer, after 5 minutes I had to get up and get it myself. Disappointing at best. I hope they change. A few more this ago it was much better.
