Decent taste of sweets, good quality, I don’t still get the hype of this place but yes I’ll visit here again , you won’t find anything better than Mithaas ,they do have a wide variety of flavors and snacks and they do have karaoke too . View all feedback.

This in my first time ordering at Mithaas Restaurant. First of all I wanted to order over phone but their staff doesn't answering call. When I went to order in-person their employee are talking to each other, laughing and not looking at customers. Then I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and paneer came in different color also it was hard to eat. As per my experience food product wasn't good also customer service isn't good.
Decent taste of sweets, good quality, I don’t still get the hype of this place but yes I’ll visit here again , you won’t find anything better than Mithaas ,they do have a wide variety of flavors and snacks and they do have karaoke too .
Always like the food in Mithaas. Until a lot of other Indian fast food places came out, Mathias was the go-to place for us in Edison. We always have a long travel to come here, but we still always visited. Now we do go to lot of other branches, but still I find the Edison branch to be different. I gave only 4 stars due to cost.
Visiting Mithaas in Edison felt like we were transported back to India. The ambiance is typical of a laidback Indian restaurant, the diners were almost entirely Indian, and you could have an entire conversation with the staff in Hindi or Gujarati. The food was quite good, but if held to the high bar of an Indian restaurant back in India, i felt like it could have offered more. The chaat was average and the Chole in the Chole Bhature could have been more flavorful. Nonetheless, the Veg Seekh Kebab were quite tasty even if they didn't look or feel like a traditional Veg Seekh Kebabs, and the Aloo Paratha was also quite tasty. We ordered a Cappuccino to go and it was great (felt like a hybrid between a filter coffee and a Cappuccino). The servers were polite and courteous, even though the service was terribly slow (likely owing to how busy they were due to the long weekend). The one area where they really need to improve are the cleanliness and hygiene levels. The cutlery had visible water stains and serving trays looked dirty from prior orders. One of the bathrooms had a mop and a bucket full of filthy water. These things should not happen and negatively impact an otherwise positive dining experience. All said and done, there is a lot to like, but if and when i return, I'd like the cleanliness and hygiene levels to be better.
Prices are very modest and very much similar for food around the area. This place needs some better lighting as it seems a bit dull in side. Need more light out side by the entry way as well. The restroom floor needs to be mopped and the napkin rolls need refill as none were available. The toiletseat needs adjustment. Chairs , tables the sofa are clean to sit and eat and I have seen the staff clean and spray each time the previous petron leave. The utensils were clean. We visit several times a month as my child like Chole Bhature .

I just had lunch at mithaas of new jersey. it was terrible. all night, my dear was hurt because of the bad food. will never come out
The food was fantastic, but the service left something to be desired. We were informed that outdoor seating wasn't allowed, yet just five minutes later, they started seating people outside because there were no tables available indoors. Additionally, there weren't enough servers to adequately attend to the number of tables and customers. Lastly, the restroom needs to be maintained more carefully; it was quite dirty.
We went there for a Father's Day dinner. It was busy, but not overly crowded for a Sunday at 1 PM. The food was very affordable and came out quickly. We enjoyed everything except for the soy curry, which was a bit too sweet and the soy "meat" wasn't very appealing. However, the falooda kulfis were delicious. The kulfi had mostly melted, but the restaurant was kind enough to add some extra kulfi in our cups to compensate. Overall, it’s a nice place to visit.
The food was amazing, and I've included some pictures in this review so you can see for yourself. Mithaas offers much more than just sweets; their dishes are truly impressive. Abhijeet and his crew were a pleasure to work with, and I’m so glad we chose Mithaas for this special occasion.
Nicely we ordered amritsari thali and has special thali the amount for both thali was very good. we also ordered raj kachori, but we feel that it was little hard (back in in india it was not so much), but taste wisely good. bathrooms were not so clean.
