What hack man doesn't like about Real Foods:
Some great products here tightly packed in what is quite a large shop. Prices can be steep, unless you can find some special offers but I suppose that's how it is with independent shops. I cannot fault the huge range of foods and toiletries etc, there are things I have never seen before available here. Some of the organic vegetables look a bit ropey but they come straight from the earth and I'm sure they'd be fine if... View all feedback.

I really like this store and went here to buy products that I would usually not find in a regular supermarket and vegan chocolate. They have so many good vegan products and they also have student discounts! Since it is not a 100% vegan shop, it only gets 4 stars from me, although I recommend the shop.
This is an excellent place to buy vegan and health foods. They have a really vast selection of grains, nuts and vegan alternatives (mayo, cheese, etc. Additionally, as well as a top food range, they stock great home, and skin products such and toiletries, washing liquid, eco cling film and all sorts.
This an extremely well stocked natural foods store with a lot of harder to find vegan items. Lots of choice and friendly staff. We found prices to be steep on some items, but reasonable and right in line with other shops on others. With so many goodies it is very easy to overspend!
I pop in here when I'm near the bus station and have some spare time, or for today, was on the hunt for coconut caramel sauce I'd seen a photo of online. Got my sauce, and also an onion bhaji and a Jordan Valley pie needed some supplies I could carry around to snack on between Edinburgh Fringe shows. I could easily spend a fortune on all the vegan cheeses, the sauces, the salad dressings, the tofu... it's a good goto for new product spotting and really close to the bus station. I don't live in Edinburgh so haven't spent enough time in the shop to have any cons. As a tourist it does me for a browse.
