Cairngorm Coffee Melville Pl

I went on Saturday afternoon and had a coffee that was excellent. I didn't eat because there was nothing vegan. I could see that they usually buy some options, they seemed limited to Avo Toast and a similar butternut quash option. It is worth a visit, but note limited possibilities.

Lovely little cafe. Not a huge amount of vegan options for savoury but the one they had was phenomenal. Butternut squash and homemade pesto on sourdough amazing flavour! There were three vegan cake options, all looked fab but I had the raspberry bake. Really lovely. Oat milk and almond milk also available :

Vegan friendly, cosy and good coffee. Worth a stop.

Had the vegan grilled cheese and loved it. Crispy bread, melted cheese and the great sauce. Simple but delicious!

I had a great experience at this restaurant. I only stopped by for takeout and was pleasantly surprised to find that they offered a delicious vegan hot chocolate. They also had two vegan cake options available, the cinnamon bun was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend it! While the banana cake wasn't to my liking, my boyfriend enjoyed it so I think it just comes down to personal preference. Unfortunately, when I visited early in the day, they were out of sandwiches for takeout which was a bit disappointing as I had read in previous reviews that they offered them. It seems like they may have fewer options now compared to before. Hopefully, it was just a busy day and they had run out of sandwiches because what I did have was outstanding and it would be a shame if their options had decreased. (Review updated on 2024-03-19)
