It was comfortable and most of the food was tasty. Just some square cooked item ?haggis which was dry and tasteless. Considering that it was all you can eat, the waitress was a little eager to clear our table. But otherwise and as always with Toby it was a good place to be at. View all feedback.

I love a Toby's breakfast as a treat for a catch up with friends or my Mum but the last time I was in was very underwhelming. The potato scones were brick hard around the edges, the chopped tomatoes were cold, there was only 3 sausages left and the square sausage was also hard. None of it was hot and the eggs weren't cooked properly (I know everyone eats them differently but the white should be fully cooked). Not sur... View all feedback.
Get the buffet, no point to order a starter or something else from the menu. the buffet has amazing yorkshire puddings so ask for a big one! when the food expires, they wait a few minutes and they will produce fresh things. they always get the bark sword. if you still starve it with a piece of chocolate cake!
Not enough! it's great here for dinner! the carvery itself is really beautiful. the portion sizes are very large and even if it is so filled, I always agree to order dessert or go up for seconds! too expensive. also the service is easy. as poor as I called for a reservation, I got such an rude answer, I just wanted to hang on to her! the customer service here needs really checked and employees need to be retrained! it is now also a shame that they have taken the curry club night, because was the reason I loved going back every week. the various nightclub foods were so great.
The Toby Carvery is a high-end restaurant located in a stunning, historic building. The staff were welcoming and the food was incredibly tasty. Despite being a bit of a distance from the city center, we were pleased to make the journey.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service from our hostess Anna. The portion sizes were generous and the dishes were fresh, warm, and reasonably priced. Anna went above and beyond to accommodate our 2-year-old granddaughter.
Best Toby Carvery Ive ever experienced…the customer service and hospitality was lovely, the carvery and all the sides were amazing and id like to give a big thank our chef of the evening JAMIE who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great evening…even made sure we went home with plenty leftovers : x
