Catching a morning flight from Edinburgh airport to Geneva airport and it was time to fuel myself up for the flight ahead, I fancied a huge cooked breakfast so... read more Catching a morning flight from Edinburgh airport to Geneva airport and it was time to fuel myself up for the flight ahead, I fancied a huge cooked breakfast so headed to the nearest Wetherspoons, The Sir Walter Scott. This is clearly a very busy Wetherspoons as it was absolutely rammed but I still managed to find myself a table. I went to the bar and asked for two large breakfasts but to be put on one plate much to the shock and slight amusement of the lady serving me, I also asked for a refillable coffee. Food came pretty quickly and the plate they served it up on was absolutely huge, it was typical standard Wetherspoons quality, you know what to expect visiting these pubs and I throughly enjoyed what was served up, it hit the spot.

Both were delicious... read more We ate here Friday lunchtime, pub was very busy, ordered food and drinks through the app. I had the fish and chips and my friend had pizza. Both were delicious and arrived quickly. Pub had a great atmosphere, staff were busy but still helpful and polite, kitchen looked very busy, overall very happy with visit.
