had a bbq blt, and one of the daily suppening Moroccan sweet potato and kicherbse. a bit more expensive for the food, suppe was more tomaten than sweet potato and the blt was minimalist. plant milk options were available. beautiful atmosphere, dogs were welcome and a spot at the window offered us a beautiful view of the bridge! I met with a friend in this beautiful caffe for a brunch. she called in advance to check if there are vegan options available that have been confirmed. the vegan options are there, but nothing warm, which I really hoped for a windy day. The lunch started well with a delicious quiche and coffee for less than ten pounds. The server was friendly too. However, when I wanted a slice of roulade, I was charged £4.95 for a small portion. The server this time was not as accommodating, but I let her keep the 5p change as she seemed to need it more than I did. It's disappointing that the prices weren't displayed, as I was considering bringing my family there for breakfast one day, but I won't be returning now. Restaurants that don't show their prices always disappoint in the end.

What an amazing place. The food, coffee, views and staff are incredible. I’ve eaten here Quite a few times and it’s always so, so good. New Yorker sandwich is definitely a favourite. Great to have lunch and then take away a cake for later!
Perfect cosy cafe on a blustery cold November day. Amazing value for the quality and one of the best quiches I’ve ever had
Stopped off to get coffee on cycle to South Queensferry... After waiting 25 minutes for 2 takeaway coffees we just decided to leave. Apparently we were 3rd order in queue at the time we left. Didn't get money back. Terrible service. Staff chatting in the back
