The restaurant itself is very attractive and the staff are friendly. The food is delicious, but the service was lacking. When we arrived, there was nobody to greet us and we had to wait for a long time to be served. The tables were too close together and the wait for our food was painfully slow. One of the best curry house ever seen around seen. Portion is excellent with a reasonable price. Worthy to visit once.
Its a small but cosy cafe with great food and very nice and helpfull staff. Love their lamb kebab. Good take away service aswell.
There are many, many good Indian restaurants and choosing a good one can be hard. There is a huge range of quality among those around in Edinburgh. This one is something special quality chicken and lamb, all courses cooked to order, and a concentration...on quality rather than on fancy colours and heat. Our starters and mains were excellent. Of course, as nothing was sitting waiting the microwave or prepped waiting in a freezer, we had to wait. Well, the old saying that good things come to those who wait was proven true here. We had quite different dishes and each was impressed with what we ordered. Plates were scraped clean and we were full to bursting afterwards. One we will go back to, and recommend to friends.
Delicious, well sourced food and pleasant, attentive service. No nasty, brash colourings and gluten free.
