What Heather R doesn't like about Romanes Paterson Tea Room:
Visited here once more as there is not usually a large wait. The waiter was very good serving us all. Food still good but our grandchildren said That music is awful They need to know about Spotify and get a better selection of Scottish music. View all feedback.
On the third floor of a store that sells all things Scottish. Shop more interesting than the tearoom which is rather drab.
Lovely tearoom , very attentive staff, had broccoli and Stilton soup and a 3 cheese panini it was very tasty , we will certainly return , thank-you
Lovely cafe, food lovely we both had full Scottish breakfast, food was lovely and well cooked, selection of teas and coffees was good, staff friendly, only drawback it took over half an hour before anything even a drink arrived, more staff in busy periods needed
The full Scott’s breakfast is a days food on a plate and was excellent. The only drawback was that it took 40mins to appear after ordering!! Despite that drawback, we had bags of time, and it was an outstanding start to the day
Wondrous views ‘cross Princes Street And up along the Mound The northern side of the High Street Such treasures to be found Resplendent castle overlooks The gardens down below Rememb’ring all the saints and crooks Who helped this city grow. And all the while the pipes do play To take you to the past The restaurant on any day Gives memories to last. Tasty food and friendly smiles Are what await you here Worth the trail of many miles To find this haven of cheer. Carina’s charm and amity And Keegan’s polished skill Ensure there’s no calamity I sit and take my fill. This gem of Schottische fills my needs A sated man am I And as my footstep now recedes I turn and say “Goodbye.”
