The staff and location are great at this restaurant. It's a shame they don't display their opening times (or we couldn't find them) - we tried to have breakfast there the day before and they were closed. View all feedback.
What hush hushreviewer doesn't like about Pret A Manger:
I went to Pret A Manger and tried the chicken and avocado sandwich, which was decent. The prices were reasonable. However, the staff could improve by being more friendly. View all feedback.
Pret is prêt, right? The McDonald's owned gourmet sandwich shop which has the tasty tasty fodder. The healthier, tastier and all together better side of McD's, right? Yeah, they might make the sammiches on the premises, they might make everything fresh on the day. With the exception of whichever herbs it is that they fly in from whichever middle eastern country it is, they don't contribute to airfreight. They may well label everything with a calorie count, so you know exactly how fat it's going to make you... They may well do all of this, but it's still Micky D's in disguise right? Well, here's the thing, the staff, and a couple in particular, always have a smile for you. That is just as addictive as the spectacular posh cheddar and pickle baguette, or the ham, cheese and mustard toastie... or the superfood salad... hell, it's just nice to get a nice smile :
It's a Pret. Very tasty if a bit expensive sandwiches. All very fresh and tasty as well as being well filled so the cost is justified to a good degree.
I like this Pret. Any time I've been in, the staff have been friendly and helpful. The food is standard Pret, which I usually enjoy.
This is a large Pret, and has lovely staff. The filter coffee, even though only 99p, is better than most around. You feel like you really have stepped into a bustling street café.
Sadly, unlike the Prets closer to town the choice of sandwiches here is pretty limited I think they need to do something about this.
