excellent. I have taken these away since I as a student moved 25 years ago into this area, in the many years that have gone between then, I have had many a pleasant meal it is exactly what they need to take away in a local, 1 good eating to reasonable trips, 2 friendly helpful staff can not be mistaken at this place View all feedback.
What gary emslie doesn't like about Hung Fung:
Special curry, egg fried rice, prawn toast, Singapore fried rice ordered through JustEat on a Monday. Special gravy more like, barely any resemblance to a curry, very tasteless/bland. Prawn toast borderline incinerated. Singapore fried rice tasted very Tabasco sauce like in flavour, a lazy way to spice things up and nothing like any Singapore/Yung Chow rice I’ve ever had. I only received half of my order and a meal that I did not order. When I called, the gentleman was very understanding and the food was delicious. My only complaint is that they should invest in insulated bags like Just Eat does, as the food was not very warm. Because of this, I am not giving them a full 5 stars. Hopefully, my next order will be complete and the food will be hotter, then I will give them a 5-star rating without any issue. The food was good, but cold. I can't fault the service from the call handler and delivery driver, except that the food needs to be delivered at a warmer temperature.
Great food! With decent prices the best tasting Ribs in honey BBQ sauce Chicken Chow Mein I've ever tasted, totally amazing! wouldn't go anywhere else for a Chinese takeaway!!!
I enjoy my prawn crackers whith my meal but this is the second time they've arrived stale, (possibly yesterdays). Won't be getting my custom again.
My Fave Chinese in Leith lovely food and always early and hot when it gets here
Excellent chicken curry, large portion, lots of curry sauce, salt and pepper chips again large portion and the best I’ve had!
