Taqueria El Zarape - Edinburg

They served me the best tacos I've ever tasted, plus the half potatoes were amazing. ?

I?ll start to say believe the reviews . The service is good , they are trying but the kitchen is definitely struggling,.All the food came out cold , I?m not sure how they melt the cheese on potatoes because they are just cold ! Also the meat is chewy. I ordered fajita corn tacos combo and the charro beans never arrived . Also potatoes came first but like I said, cold . This restaurant needs help , I?m not sure if the ovens are not working in the kitchen I can?t explain how the food comes out warm at best !

If I could give them no stars I would. They were out of fajita by 12:05 on a Thursday. Waited 25 minutes for 3 simple corn taco combos. Had to ask for the beans while we waited, which tasted old and bland. The tortilla was cold yet extra greasy. Potatoes dry and hard. And to top all this off, Not friendly manager. 2nd terrible experience here, this was trying to give them a second chance. Zarape has really gone to the trash.

They took forever to bring us the food, beans with no flavor. They need to teach them how to make panchos the beans don't go at the bottom... To top it off there was RED hair at the very bottom ?

Never have any issues here and the food is generally good. There have been times of having to many fatty pieces in tacos. I wish they would have the salsa back on the table and better lime slices. They are dry.
