Delia's Specializing In Tamales

I love Delia’s I saw a 1-star review for their tribes and menudo, which makes me think that people can’t believe that opinions and reviews can’t trust. if they do not bind to chicken and cheese with green sauce, they are missing. No matter, but they have some great choices and eating is delicious. my grandfather told me he likes the menu of delias and I didn't even know they had menudo. we wanted to get it ever since, but it's only served at weeks, and since it's a rather popular place, they tend to get some pretty long lines. that is the greatest failure of delias. I just won't wait that long to order some fools or menudo. I decided to try again during this visit (I am from the valley but living in san antonio now, we have a Delia’s that recently opened, but it is crazy packed all the time and there is only 1 in all san antonio,) went this morning and there was no line! I ordered the menu item for my wife and I, and of course some fool. my grandfather was 100% right. the menudo was with thick pieces of meat (and sweet food or whatever) piecey and was extremely tasteful. if they have not tried menudo (and of course tamalees) and at delias, please go, it was absolutely delicious

I ordered half dozen jalapeno and cream cheese tamales, along with some chips a pepsi and 2 green and 2 red salsa. it was an experience that reveals every tamale from its individual mais shell and the tamales perfectly shaped and the outer substrate formed evenly around the medium filling. strong enough for me to pick them up in my hands and immerse them directly in the salsa by falling apart. delicious and damp enough to enjoy them with or without salsa. I have been here and intend to come back many times to enjoy and restore this experience. I highly recommend trying this place!

Big lineups, essentially on the weekends, but, the experience can't be beat. Highly recommend that people try the Tamales here! Updating my review as this is my 5th visit in as many years. Always impressed with the staff here. I asked what Menudo is and I was given a free sample. Although I did not like the Menudo! I do appreciate the opportunity to expand my pallette and try new items and flavours especially when it's free! LOL!

Strong enough so I could pick them up in my hands and dip them directly into the salsa with out them falling apart. Delicious and moist enough to enjoy them with or without salsa. Have been here before and I intend on returning many times to enjoy and recreate this experience. I highly recommend trying this place out!
